The Nutrition:

~ Sift through the different dietary information available through in the media & mass market.    (Blood Type Diet, Low Carbohydrate Diets, Vegan Diet, Raw Foods Diet, Paleo Diet)
~ Clarify which dietary practices support you, with your unique genetics and constitution
~ Use intuition and body awareness as your guide to the best food choices.
~ Discuss superfoods: Goji, fungi, aquaculture, cacao, coconut, and more……
~ Release old habits of eating, thinking, and being to start new and fresh

The retreat is for guests at all levels of practice, as the two yoga therapists/instructors Deborah Scarborough and Kathy Williams will help you find the postures and practices that are most appropriate for you.  Lisa Allen, registered dietitian and clinical nutrition manager with vast experience in multiple healing modalities, will present sessions that feature a holistic approach to achieving nutritional goals.     


All yoga sessions will begin with a bit of check-in, to assess your current condition.  Posture choices will take this into account. mixture of discussion and practice, with posture, breath and meditation to cultivate wellness and stress-reduction on every level.
